Holiday Open House

Thanks to everyone who came for the tours, refreshments, and live music!

On December 7, 2006, after the Washington Monument Lighting, dozens of people came to The Baltimore Hostel for a free Holiday Open House with live music by singer and guitarist Chris Laun and the Meteor Maids on violin and cello. Tours of the historic mansion were given to see the progress of the hostel, and refreshments were enjoyed along with the festive decorations - and the warm room for those who came in from the Monument lighting outside.

This program was presented by Friends of Baltimore Hostel and Potomac Area Council of HI-USA. Hostelling International-USA develops intercultural exchange and understanding through hostels and programs across America.

The Hostel is located at 17 W. Mulberry Street between Charles and Cathedral streets, by the Basilica of the Assumption and the Central Pratt Library in Mount Vernon.
